Springhouse Senior Living is being cautious in our re-opening strategy. We have seen what is happening in other areas of the country with the virus surges and therefore we are slowly and thoughtfully re-opening. The good news is:
On Thursday, July 10th, our hair salon finally re-opened. Residents anxiously waited for “our Linda” to make them feel beautiful again.
Our Independent Living exercise program resumed July 20th on the patio, social distanced and masked of course!
We resumed several outdoor concerts on the patio. The resident favorite was vocalist Elaine Woo and pianist Bob Winter, formally of the Boston Pops. More concerts with social distancing are planned for every weekend in August.
Barn Babies returned for their monthly visit in July, and they are scheduled to come back at the end of August. They came with chickens, a baby pig, 2 goats, kittens and bunnies. There was one puppy as well. These little animals sure do bring lots of smiles and joy to everyone.
We have added additional times to our family patio visit calendar. Now there are early evening times and a block of times for Sunday visits. We urge friends and families to reserve early. If you would like to schedule a patio visit click here Family Patio Visit Reservation Calendar
