On June 3, 2020, Springhouse Senior Living began outdoor family patio visits. The ability to do visits came with a lot of restrictions and very little time for planning. We were ready. Our residents needed to see their families and vice versa. We are happy to tell you that since then, more and more families have been reunited. It is the new normal for now, masked, 6′ apart and no hugs or kisses, but we can see the love and excitement in everyone’s eyes–now known as “smeyeing.”
We have also upgraded our patio visits with an Eversound headphone system for those who are hearing impaired. Hard of hearing, no problem. Recycling truck goes by, no problem! Background noise, no problem. All solved by these amazing headphones. They are charged, sanitized and ready! If you would like to use them during your visit, please let us know in the notes section of the booking form when you make your reservation. The Eversound headphones are available on a first come, first served basis.
