The reporters at NBC 10 Boston recently connected with the Springhouse staff and residents to get a better understanding of how we’re preparing for a Covid-19 vaccine. With residents at senior living communities considered a priority for the first phase of the Covid-19 vaccine rollout, we’ve been in contact with medical professionals and pharmacies about the process for getting our residents and nursing staff vaccinated and hopefully eliminating the threat of the virus in our community.*
Today, we received information from CVS about how the procedure is going to work,” said Karen Pollack, Springhouse’s director of community relations.

Please note that Springhouse is not a nursing home, though the article refers to us as one. We are a retirement community offering independent living, assisted living and memory support.
*The NBC Boston article states that no Springhouse resident tested positive for Covid-19. A handful of residents tested positive in the Spring, but there have been no new cases since the end of May.
