Karen Pollack, Guest Speaker at Harvard College

On March 31, 2019, Karen Pollack, Director of Community Relations at Springhouse, was a guest speaker at the Harvard College Alzheimer’s Buddies Symposium. This was interdisciplinary conference on Alzheimer’s Disease. Her topic was entitled ”Best Practices of Caregiving.” The Keynote Speaker was Dr. Kirk Daffner from Harvard Medical School.

Trip to Allandale Farm

In May, we took a trip to Allandale Farm and then did some planting ourselves! We had a beautiful sunny spring day for our planting party. A cool breeze filled the air. Once we got working it was a welcome relief along with an ice-cold glass of refreshing lemonade.
